National Museum of Rome

National Museum of RomeThe National Museum of Rome, known as Museo Nazionale Romano in Italian, is a set of museums with its main location near the Termini metrostation in Rome. The museum was founded around 1890 and it is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world. Here you can see antiquities from the period between 500 BC and 300 AD. Inside you can see paintings, ceramics and for example sarcophagus.

The museum is closed on Mondays.
