Trevi Fountain

The legend says that everyone who throws money into the fountain will return, so go for it! Many people believe in this legend, because every day coins worth more than 3000 Euro is thrown into the fountain.

The fountain is one of the most famous attractions in Rome, not only because of its height (26 meters) or its width (20 meters), but it is very beautiful. It was created in 1762 in baroque style, based on the drawings of Nilcola Salvi. The fountain has been renovated several times since then, but it still keeps its charm and beauty. Some people claim that the fountain looks a bit like a triumphal arch. Judge for yourself!

If you want to visit the Trevi Fountain you can travel with metro to either Spagna or Barberini (line A).
