The Olympics Stadium in Rome is a fantastic venue and it will be like Christmas when Depeche mode comes to perform on June 25th. The British band which was born in the 1980s is as popular as ever before and during their Europe tour they will visit lots of cities all around Europe. Some might say that the highlight of the tour will be their concert at the Olympics Stadium in London early in June, but for Italian the highlight will without a doubt be the Rome concert on June 25th.

Depeche Mode will in addition to these cities also visit tons of other interesting cities in Europe. They will for example visit St Petersburg in Russia, Minsk in Belarus, Bratislava in Slovakia, Prague in the Czech Republic and Ljubljana in Slovenia.

The reason is probably that the Italians like to stay up late in the evening, and that it will be quite hot in Rome on a nice June day. For these reasons it is better to start the concert at 21.00 in the evening compared to 19.00 which is normal in most other cities visited during the Depeche Mode tour.

The concert will be in the Italian capital at the Stadio Olimpico at 6 July 2013. The Stadio Olimpico opened in 1937 and its capacity is more than 70.000 people.

The popular band, Pink Floyd is familiar for everyone. Their several albums are binding for every music lover. They formed in 1965; one of the charter members, later the frontman is Roger Waters.

Waters was born in Great Britain in 1943. His father died in the World War II, when the little Waters was only five month old.

His musician career has started in 1965, when Waters and his friends, Syd Barrett, Richard Wright and Nick Mason formed the Pink Floyd. Later a new member arrived because Syd Barrett left the band. He was David Gilmour. Roger Waters was the front man between 1967 and 1985. He wrote the most famous Pink Floyd album, The Wall. The album is inspired by Waters’ biography and thinks, feelings.

Waters left the group because of inside conflicts in 1985 and has started a solo career, what is very successful nowadays too. He made the biggest concert show in the rock history, when he played The Wall in Berlin in 1990.
Roger Waters will have a European tour in the same name in this year’s July. The tour’s one stop is the capital of the pictorial Italy, Rome. Waters’ tours will arrive to the ancient city in 28 July 2013 to the Stadio Olimpico, which is Rome’s biggest sport arena. Its capacity is more than 80 thousand people!
