2025 is going to be a fantastic year. There are many reasons why it will be a great year, but the fact that Ed Sheeran is coming to Rome to do a concert at the Olympic Stadium is only making it even more awesome. Ed Sheeran last played at the Olympic Stadium in 2019, so it is definitely time to have one of the most popular artists of our time returning to the stadium again after six years. Ed Sheeran also visited Rome in 2017, but then he played in the indoor venue Palalottomatica.
June 14th is the date for the Ed Sheeran concert in Rome in 2025. This is a part of a larger tour around Europe in which he will visit cities such as Madrid, Marseille, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Zurich, Antwerp, Wroclaw, Düsseldort, and several other cities. This is following 2024, in which Ed Sheeran did most of his concerts in Eastern Europe as he visited Budapest, Zagreb, and several other cities in that region of Europe.
Now you have a brilliant excuse to visit Rome during the summer of 2024. You should start planning already and buy tickets for famous attractions such as the St. Peter’s Basilica and the other famous sights in Rome. It is also smart to book a hotel or apartment as early as possible as it will make things so much easier when you have all such things planned ahead.

If you want to book a cheap hotel or apartment in the center of Rome, use the map below. You can zoom in and out if you want to look for accommodation in an area either closer to the concert venue, more in the city center, or if you want it as cheap as possible, possibly outside the city center of Rome.
Would you like to travel to the stadium using public transportation? To travel to Stadio Olimpico in Rome using public transportation, start by taking Metro Line A (Red Line). You can get off at either Ottaviano or Lepanto stations, which are the closest metro stops to the stadium. From there, a bus transfer is necessary to complete your journey.
From Ottaviano, you can take bus 32 in the direction of Stadio Olimpico and exit at the De Bosis/Stadio Tennis stop, which is just a short walk from the stadium. Alternatively, if you arrive at Lepanto, you can take bus 280 and transfer at Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz, from where it’s a brief walk to Stadio Olimpico.
The entire journey takes about 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic and bus wait times.
