Most people know England, as the country, where the most bands and artists have born and start their way to the spotlights. A life would be a little to list the bags of the names, so now let’s talk about just one: Mick Hucknall. Maybe this name is not familiar to everyone, but if we just say Simply Red, I’m sure, most people remember to the red, curly-haired singer, who has dazzled his fans with his soft, wide-ranging voice.
Mick Hucknall was born in 1960, Denton, England. His mother left the family in 1963, so the little Mick was brought up by his father. Hucknall met only three times with his mother in his lifetime.
Hucknall decided to be a musician in a Sex Pistols concert in Manchester in 1976. After that he and a few friends formed the band, Frantic Elevators. After the initial successes they changed the band’s name inspired by the red-haired singer to Simply Red. The band after 25 years and 50 million sold records broke up in 2010. The singer, Mick Hucknall has started a solo career two years after, and he released his first album, the American Soul in 2012. On this album he work off the songs which are inspired him in his music career.
Mick Hucknall is going to start an European tour in 2013. spring, because ha wants to show the new album, American Soul to his old and new fans. This show is going to be almost a performance. The European tour’s one country is Italy, and in addition to several times, at different locations.
