The exhibition ‘Age of Anxiety. From Commodus to Diocletian (180-305 D.C.) is on display at the Capitoline Museum in Rome since the end of January to the beginning pf October in 2015.
Anxiety

The exhibition ‘Age of Anxiety’ shows the life back in Rome from 180 D.C. to 395 D.C. which is said to be one of the crises for the Empire. The exhibition shows the changes and the various developments the city went through the ages. This period of time had an incredible impact on the following generations which lead the society to the Late Antiquity. At the exhibition visitors can have a closer look on the determinative emperors of this period of time and visitors also have the chance to follow the changes Rome had to go through during the centuries until 395 D.C..

Exhibition on baroque in Rome in 2015

The exhibition ‘Baroque in Rome: The Wonder of the Arts’ is shown in Rome at the Fondazione Roma Museo since the beginning of April until the end of July 2015.

Baroque

The exhibition The Wonder of the Arts displays the development and the artistic evolution which made Rome the capital of the Baroque era. At the exhibition visitors will have the chance to have a closer look on the most unique and well known baroque art works including the works of Guido Reni, Pietro da Cortona, Simon Vouet, Gian Lorenzo Bernini and so on. The exhibition also contains some less known or unknown baroque art works that has never been exhibited before. The exhibition shows the Baroque period from its birth to the end of the era highlighting the most influential events and persons of this period.

The exhibition ‘Baroque in Rome: The Wonder of the Arts’ is shown until 26th July in 2015 at the Fondazione Roma Museo in Rome.

Art in the 19th century

This exhibition takes place in Rome from the beginning of November this year until next year June. The exhibition shows the most important works of the 19th century and of the beginning of the 20th century as well.
Art in the 19th century

The exhibition has the main focus mostly on the Italian painters from northern Italy, from the Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria and Veneto regions. In the late 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th century the main genre of painting was landscape and at the exhibition you can have a closer look on the nicest landscape paintings. At the exhibition visitors can also explore the different Italian painters and their most outstanding and most beautiful art works. The exhibition the Nineteenth-Century Artists: Themes and New Discoveries is shown at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Rome. The exhibition is on display from 7th November in 2014 until 14th June in 2015. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 in the morning until 6.30 in the and it is closed on Mondays. The entrance fee for adults is € 7.50.
