One of the most popular events in Rome at Easter is the ‘Procession of the Cross’ which is about the last walk of Jesus to the Mt Golgotha. The event will be on 3rd April 2015.

Some time in October (the dates are not confirmed) the Rome International Film Festival the real red carpet event takes place in the city. At the festival you can check out the newest international premiers, documentaries, live shows, exhibitions and various concerts as well.

In the end of the year when Christmas is just around the corner the different and various Christmas markets appear in the city. In Rome the Christmas markets open in the end of November and they are open until the end of December or the beginning of January like in the other big European cities.
