A virtual Van Gogh exhibition

Are you a big fan of Vincent Van Gogh? Then you should absolutely come to Rome to experience the Van Gogh Alive exhibition which is available until March 26th in 2017.

Many people might say that the best place in the world to learn about Vincent Van Gogh is at the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. That might be true, but as a matter of fact we believe that this exhibition might be even better.

This exhibition named Van Gogh Alive is a virtual multimedia exhibition. You will in other words not look directly at any Vincent Van Gogh painting, but instead you will see his works displayed as they are portrayed and shown in giant sizes using more than 50 projectors in the exhibition area. You will not only watch his paintings, but while you do so you can listen to beautiful classical music from some of the most famous composers in the world like Vivaldi, Ledbury, Tobin, Lalo, Barber, Schubert, Satie, Godard, Bach, Chabrier, Satie, Saint-Saëns, Godard and Handel.

There will be a total of more than 3000 works on display in this exhibition and to be honest, this might be even more interesting, especially for younger people, than the actual Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. The multimedia display makes it easier to digest and since its opening this exhibition has already enjoyed lots of visitors and a great success.

The exhibition opened on October 25th and will be on display till March 26th in 2017.
