For a long time it was believed that the Gaius Cestius pyramid was brought to Rome from Egypt, but after a while they realized that it was built in memory of the rich Italian Gaius Cestius. One does not know for certain when it was built, but in general they say sometime around 15 BC. What is interesting is that they never found an entrance to the pyramid, so to get into it they had to make a door themselves.
